As both Data Engineer and Scientist at this luxury perfume retailer, I overhauled the database architecture and created all the necessary pipelines, designed and developed our predictive tools, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis and live dashboards. As part of a team of DBAs, our primary mission was to manage and optimize large SQL Server databases in production (7 TB, 100K transactions/sec at peak). Becoming an expert in Transact-SQL, I implemented real-time monitoring tools, worked on numerous administrative workflows, and was also responsible for the installation and management of NoSQL database clusters such as Redis and Elasticsearch.
